Minor in Criminology

Economic conditions, rapid demographic changes, alterations in social institutions and extensive drug and alcohol abuse have led to high crime rates in the United States. Parallel social changes in other countries reflect accompanying increases in criminal behavior. Internationally, there is an increasing concern about public safety. With this minor, you will learn about the causes of crime, how to measure the extent of crime, and how to critically examine the approaches used to prevent, sanction and change criminal behavior.

The Minor in Criminology at 麻豆代天府is offered with flexible options in both face-to-face and online settings.
